LIMITED EDITIONS FINE ART PRINTS

Each Fine Artwork is limited to 30 prints in total (all sizes combined) plus 2 (AP) Artist Proofs and available in three sizes: After 30 prints, no more prints of this photograph will be made available. The price of the prints may increase as the edition sells through.

TIRAGES EDITIONS LIMITÉES FINE ART

Chaque œuvre Fine Art est limité à 30 exemplaires au total (toutes dimensions confondues), plus 2 épreuves d’artiste et disponibles en trois dimensions. Après 30 impressions, il n y aura plus aucun tirage de cette photographie. Le prix des tirages peut augmenter à mesure que l'édition se vend.

FAQ - LIMITED EDITIONS FINE ART PRINTS

  • My Fine Arts Limited prints are achieved through an entire museum quality process controlled by custom fine art mounting solutions experts, typically Atelier M. Seguin in Montreal or Whitewall in Germany. The use of high-resolution printers, archival pigment inks (or piezography inks possibly for Black and White photographs) and selected fine art archival papers are ensuring longevity of your piece of art for at least +60 years.

    The selected archival papers are all acid free and offered either in a glossy finish or in a matte finish. The choice of the archival paper (either from Fuji, Epson, Hahnemuhle or Canson brands) is subject to the advice of the printing solution expert for the selected photograph but also according to the mounting option desired by the client, all this in order to provide the optimal visual result and guarantee the highest level of quality for your complete satisfaction.

    Each Fine Art Limited print comes with a certificate of authenticity (COA) , providing the title of the image, the print number against the maximum of prints available in the edition, the production date and signature of the artist. Please note that the COA could be sent separately from the Artwork shipping.

    When each artwork runs out of editions, it will never be printed again.

  • Different mounting and framing options are available.

    A) Mounting under acrylic and on natural aluminum panel/Dibond support

    Acrylic face mounted print is a contemporary way to present a photographic work offering a more three-dimensional appearance. The photograph first printed on archival art paper is mounted under a 1/8'' acrylic sheet which provides highest optical clarity, a protective finish, enhances depth, contrast, color saturation and protects from UV rays.

    Note: Recommendation is to choose an acrylic matte that reduces stray light from the sun or glare from interior lights. For more punchy vivid colors in environment where reflections are limited, a clear acrylic is offered. The choice is yours.

    A natural aluminum white panel/Dibond support is then applied to the back of the print to increase rigidity of the whole and a 3/4'' aluminum molding is finally added to allow the hanging of the artwork.

    This frameless mounting finish draws attention to the photograph in the purest way and creates a sense of modern floating display off the wall.

    This mounting solution is the one I propose for my artwork and a contemporary sleek presentation.

    B) Mounting under acrylic with a frame (Standard or Floating)

    You may add an elegant and modern small wood frame all around the artwork.

    The assembly is like A) but we add a frame available in black or white (or other color on demand) - Width : 0.5 in (1.3 cm) Depth : 1.5 in (3.9 cm).

    The edge of frame has a square modern profile made of 100% maple and carefully lacquered after mounting. ensuring a top-class finish. This standard frame surrounds the photograph print directly.

    You may also opt for a floating frame with a small margin surrounding the artwork creating a shadow gap between the picture and the frame. The shadow gap separates the work from the frame by a small margin allowing the artwork to levitate or breathe freely. This framing technique also offers to recess a bit the print from the frame creating a spatial effect at the end. Recommendation for floating frames best effect goes for 1/4 inch space and 1/4 inch recessed.

    C) Mounting under acrylic with frame and with a white margin

    Same assembly as A) with a frame as in B) to which you can add a white margin all around the photograph to see the work in its entirety without the frame touching the photograph.

    Please note that the chosen margin from 1.5 in (3.8 cm) to 3 in (7.6 cm) is added to the photographic paper directly (it is not a passe-partout). The frame and the margin add to the dimension of the whole. For example, an original photograph measuring 28 x 56 in (71 x 143 cm) becomes a final artwork of 35 x 63 in (89 x 160 cm) with a 3 in (7,6 cm) margin.

    Shipping costs are entirely the responsibility of the buyer depending on the destination of the Fine Art print, except for local deliveries less than 100 km from Montreal in the Province of Quebec which are free.

  • Les tirages limités Fine Art sont réalisés grâce à un processus complet de qualité muséale contrôlé par des experts en solutions de montage d'art personnalisées, comme l'Atelier M. Seguin à Montréal ou Whitewall en Allemagne. L'utilisation d'imprimantes haute résolution, d'encres pigmentaires d'archives (ou possiblement d'encres piézographiques pour les photographies en noir et blanc) et de papiers d'archives beaux-arts garantissent la longévité de votre œuvre d'art pendant au moins +60 ans.

    Les papiers d'archives sélectionnés sont tous sans acide et proposés soit en finition brillante, soit en finition mate.     Chaque tirage d'art en édition limitée est accompagné d'un certificat d'authenticité (COA) indiquant le titre de l'œuvre, le numéro du tirage (comparé au nombre maximal d'exemplaires disponibles dans l'édition), la date de production et la signature de l'artiste. Veuillez noter que le COA peut être envoyé séparément de l'œuvre.

    Une fois l'édition épuisée, chaque œuvre ne sera jamais réimprimée.

  • Différentes options d’encadrement et de montage sont disponibles.

    A) Montage sous verre acrylique et sur support d’aluminium naturel

    Le montage sous verre acrylique est un mode contemporain pour présenter une œuvre photographique offrant un aspect plus tridimensionnel. La photographie imprimée sur le papier d’art archive est montée sous une plaque de verre acrylique de 1/8'' qui procure un fini protecteur, rehausse la profondeur, les contrastes, la saturation des couleurs et protège des rayons UV.

    Note : la recommandation est de choisir un verre acrylique mat qui atténue les lumières parasites du soleil ou les reflets des lumières intérieures. Pour des couleurs plus vives et plus percutantes dans un environnement où les reflets sont limités, un acrylique transparent est proposé. Le choix est le votre.

    Un support en aluminium naturel (alu panel blanc/Dibond) est ensuite appliqué au dos de l’impression pour assurer la rigidité de l’ensemble et une moulure en aluminium de 3/4'' est finalement ajoutée pour permettre l’accrochage de l’œuvre.

    Cette finition de montage sans cadre, attire l’attention sur la photographie uniquement de la manière la plus pure et crée une impression de présentation flottante moderne hors du mur.

    B) Montage sous verre acrylique avec cadre (Standard ou Flottant)

    Vous pouvez ajouter un cadre élégant et moderne tout autour de l’œuvre.

    Le montage est identique que A) mais on y ajoute un cadre de 0,5 in (1,3 cm) disponible en blanc ou noir, épaisseur de 1,5 in (3,9 cm).

    Le bord du cadre présente un profil carré moderne composé à 100 % d'érable et soigneusement laqué après montage. assurant une finition de première classe. Ce cadre standard entoure directement le tirage photographique.

    Vous pouvez également opter pour un cadre flottant avec une petite marge entourant l’œuvre d’art créant une marge entre l’image et le cadre. L'espace sépare ainsi l'œuvre du cadre et permet à l'œuvre de semble se détacher librement, créant un effet spatial à la fin.
    La recommandation pour les cadres flottants, le meilleur effet va pour un espace de 1/4 de pouce et un encastrement de 1/4 de pouce.

    C) Montage sous verre acrylique avec cadre et marge blanche

    Même montage qu'en A) avec un cadre comme en B) auquel vous pouvez ajouter une marge blanche tout autour de la photographie pour voir l'œuvre dans son intégralité sans que le cadre ne touche la photographie.

    Veuillez noter que la marge choisie de 1,5 po (3,8 cm) à 3 po (7,6 cm) est ajoutée directement au papier photographique (il ne s'agit pas d'un passe-partout). Le cadre et la marge ajoutent à la dimension de l'ensemble. Par exemple, une photographie originale mesurant 28 x 56 pouces (71 x 143 cm) devient une œuvre finale de 35 x 63 pouces (89 x 160 cm) avec une marge de 3 pouces (7,6 cm).

OPEN EDITIONS PRINTS

Open editions allow you to acquire an original print at a a lower cost and better suited to small spaces. There is no limit in the number of prints but those are certified original prints anyway and signed digitally by the artist.
